I am a Founder Member of the Expert Witness Institute.  I am a Council Member of the Medical Defence Union as well as member of both the Cases Committee and the Case Management Committee.

I have attended courses concerning the writing of medical reports, the implications of the Civil Procedure Rules, and the role of the joint expert.

I have produced in excess of 1200 reports on the instruction of solicitors, with an approximate distribution of 62% on the instruction of the claimant, 37% on the instruction of the defendant, and 1% joint.

I am included in the UK Register of Expert Witnesses, the APIL Expert database, the Law Society Directory of Expert Witnesses, the Law Society of Scotland Directory of Expert Witnesses, and the Expert Witness Directory of Ireland. My particular areas of expertise include antenatal care, the management of labour including the interpretation of CTGs, maternal soft-tissue injuries as a consequence of childbirth, the complications of gynaecological surgery, and the management of female urogynaecological disorders including urinary incontinence and prolapse.
